From my first visit to Wee Pals I sensed that it was just what I was looking for. One of the things that stood out to me about the school was that in one of my first conversations with Lisa she told me that the children engage in structured and unstructured play in accordance with the Montessori model and that she would introduce the children individually to do more structured activities (reading, writing, arithmetic skills) when they are ready for it.

I’m amazed by the calm in the classrooms; the children are all engaged in activities, focused and content. The aunties are wonderful, clearly passionate about what they do and genuinely invested in each child. Thanks to Wee Pals, my son has blossomed into a confident, conscientious young boy, and I attribute so much of that to his time here. I couldn’t imagine sending him anywhere else, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have the chance to continue his journey next year at Montessori School Barbados. The Montessori method has worked wonders for my son, and I believe it offers a world of benefits for any child.

Lisa Perkins and her dedicated team of teachers have an extraordinary ability to adapt to each child’s unique personality and needs. Each of my children felt loved, understood, and prepared for the next steps in their educational journey. They were equipped with social and educational skills that exceeded expectations for their ages. Not only were my children excited to attend school every day, but Lisa also maintained a fantastic relationship with each parent, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
